The 1st Annual PeeDee Perlo Festival celebrates the rich culinary heritage of South Carolina through one of its most iconic dishes - perlo. This flavorful rice dish, with roots in West African, Gullah-Geechee and Lowcountry traditions, brings together our community and visitors in celebration of local culture, cuisine, and craftsmanship.

As a VIP, you will receive an exclusive role in determining the winner of the “Community Choice”, as part of the Cook-Off. You will also receive a free Festival Tee for celebrating with us.
